Calorie Strategy: Cutting Body Fat vs. Bulking Muscle

If your BMR is 1,750 kcal and your TDEE with training is 2,500 kcal, consume around 2,000 kcal per day (a 500 kcal deficit). This facilitates approximately 0.5 kg (1 lb) of pure fat loss per week without sacrificing hard-earned muscle.
2. Lean Bulking (Muscle Gain for Men):
To build muscle without unnecessary fat accumulation, eat a controlled caloric surplus of 250 to 300 kcal above your TDEE. Combine this with 1.6 to 2.2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight and progressive overload resistance training.
